Pie chart

To Obtain Pie Charts Summarizing Groups of Cases

1. From the menus, choose:

   Graphs > Chart Builder...

2. Click the Gallery tab.
3. Select Pie/Polar in the Choose from: list.
4. Drag and drop the Pie Chart icon into the canvas area of the Chart Builder.
5. Select a categorical variable for Slice by?.

The categorical variable can be a string (alphanumeric) variable or a numeric variable that use numeric codes to represent categories (e.g., 0=Male, 1=Female).
