The OLAP Cubes Procedure

The OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) Cubes procedure is useful for obtaining summary statistics for scale variables, broken down by the categories of one or more grouping variables.

The OLAP Cubes procedure includes a wide variety of statistics, from simple counts, sums, and percentages to sophisticated measures of central tendency and dispersion. Any number of grouping variables can be used. Although, by default, these variables appear in the table layer at their summary level, any level or combination of levels can be selected for display. Additionally, any or all of the grouping variables can be pivoted from the layer to the column or row to simultaneously display its categories. Finally, title and footnote text can be easily customized to your specifications.
