Normality Analysis

Normality analysis is used to examine whether the data follows normal distribution or not. For checking normality of univariate data, statistical tests such as Anderson-Darling test, Shapiro-Wilk test, Cramer-von Mises’s test, Shapiro-Francia test, and Lilliefors (Kolmogorov-Smirnov) test are available. Similarly, for checking normality of multivariate data, tests such as Henze-Zirkler test, Mardia test, Royston test, Doornik-Hansen test, and Energy test are available.

Plots are also available for checking normality such as Histogram, Box plot, Q-Q plot, Scatter plot, Chi-Square Q-Q plot, Perspective plot, and Contour plot.

Normality Analysis is an extension procedure. Install Normality Analysis Extension module to access the Normality Analysis dialog box.

To analyze your dataset, go to the menu bar and click Analyze > Descriptive Statistics > Normality Analysis.
