spss.HasCursor Function (Python)
spss.HasCursor(). Returns an integer indicating whether there is an open cursor. A value of 0 indicates there is no open cursor, and a value of 1 indicates there is an open cursor. Cursors allow you to read data from the active dataset, create new variables in the active dataset, and append cases to the active dataset.
