Charts in the Scatterplot Matrix Diagonal

If your chart is a scatterplot matrix, you can add histograms or normal curves to the diagonal. Each chart in the diagonal will show the distribution of the variable in the corresponding column.

  1. From the menus choose:

Options > Show Charts in the Diagonal

How to Edit Charts in the Diagonal

  1. Select the Charts in the Diagonal.
  2. If the Properties window is not displayed, from the menus choose:

    Edit > Properties

  3. Use the Charts on the Diagonal tab to specify whether the charts in the diagonal should be histograms or normal curves.
  4. If the charts on the diagonal are histograms, you can also modify the histogram options. See the topic Binning (Grouping) Data Values for more information.
  5. Click Apply.
