ANALYSIS Subcommand (META BINARY command)

The META BINARY command calls the meta-analysis procedure for binary outcomes when the raw data are provided in the active dataset for the estimation of the effect size. The optional ANALYSIS subcommand specifies the subgroup and/or cumulative analysis.

SUBGROUP

The optional keyword evokes the subgroup analysis and specifies the subgroup variable. The variable cannot be the same as the variable that is specified for CUMULATIVE.

CUMULATIVE

The optional keyword evokes the cumulative analysis and specifies the variable upon which the cumulative meta-analysis is conducted. The variable cannot be the same as the variable that is specified for SUBGROUP. CUMULATIVE(SORT = ASCENDING) conducts the cumulative analysis, that is based upon the specified variable, in ascending order. CUMULATIVE(SORT = DESCENDING) conducts the cumulative analysis in descending order.
