IBM® SPSS® Statistics with collaboration allows interaction with the IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository from within the IBM SPSS Statistics interface. Files can be stored and retrieved directly from IBM SPSS Statistics .

In addition, IBM SPSS Statistics syntax files stored in the repository can be executed as steps within jobs. A job can contain any number of steps, with each step corresponding to a separate file. Relationships defined between the steps determine the processing flow. The job can be scheduled to execute at a specific time, according to a recurrence pattern, or in response to a defined event. Moreover, notifications can be sent to specified recipients to report on individual step and overall job execution status.

IBM SPSS Statistics custom dialog files stored in the IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository can be accessed using IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Deployment Portal, providing a browser-based interface for defining and executing analyses.

Collaboration between IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services and IBM SPSS Statistics is enabled through the use of adapters. These adapters are installed into the IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services environment to add the product-specific features.
