Bins (Geospatial Association Rules)

The Bins dialog controls custom binning for selected continuous fields in the Binning and Aggregation panel of the Geospatial Modeling wizard.

Automatic binning

Use the number of bins specified for all continuous fields in Binning and Aggregation panel.

Manually set cut points

Use the specified cut points to create bins for the selected field.

• The number of bins is the number of cut points plus 1.
• Each cut point is included as the upper end of an interval.

For example, if the cut points are 10, 20, and 30, four bin intervals are created. The first bin includes values less than or equal to 10, and the last bin includes values greater than 30.
