Define Event (Complex Samples Cox Regression)

Specify the values that indicate a terminal event has occurred.

• Individual value(s). Specify one or more values by entering them into the grid or selecting them from a list of values with defined value labels.
• Range of values. Specify a range of values by entering the minimum and maximum values or selecting values from a list with defined value labels.

How To Define Events

This feature requires the Complex Samples option.

1. From the menus choose:

   Analyze > Complex Samples > Cox Regression...

2. Select a plan file. Optionally, select a custom joint probabilities file and then click Continue.
3. On the Complex Samples Cox Regression Time and Event tab, select a status variable and click Define Event.
