L'Abb´e Plot
The L'Abb´e Plot tab provides settings for controlling L'Abb´e plot charts that display in the output for meta-analysis with continuous and binary outcomes when raw data and pre-calculated effect size data are provided in the active data set.
- L'Abb´e plot
- The optional setting enables and disables L'Abb´e plot output. The setting is disabled by default.
- Draw dots proportional to weights
- Controls how dots are drawn in relation to the weights. The setting is enabled by default, which draws the dots proportional to the weights. When the setting is disabled, all dots are drawn to the same size.
- Reference lines
-
- Overall effect size
- Controls the display of the reference line that represents the estimated overall effect size. The setting is disabled by default, which suppresses the reference line. The reference line displays when the setting is enabled.
- Null effect size
- Controls the display of the reference line that represents no effect. The setting is enabled by default, which displays the reference line. The reference line is suppressed when the setting is not enabled.
- Range of x-axis
- Specifies the x-axis plot range. When the setting is enabled, two numeric
values must be specified and satisfy
Upper bound > Lower bound
. Note that the specified values apply to all Galbraith plots. - Range of y-axis
- Specifies the y-axis plot range. When the setting is enabled, two numeric
values must be specified and satisfy
Upper bound > Lower bound
. Note that the specified values apply to all Galbraith plots. - Variables
- Lists the available dataset variables.
- Label
- Optionally specify a variable upon which the bubble plot is labeled. The Placement list provides options for placing labels automatically (Auto) or on the Right, Left, Upper, and Bottom.
Defining L'Abb´e plot settings
- From the menus choose:
- In the Meta-Analysis dialog, click Plot and then click the L'Abb´e Plot tab.
- Select and define the appropriate L'Abb´e plot settings.
- Click Continue.
