Obtaining a generalized linear mixed model
This feature requires SPSS® Statistics Standard Edition or the Advanced Statistics Option.
From the menus choose:
- Define the subject structure of your dataset on the Data Structure tab. The tab provides options for specifying both the model effects and the repeated covariance type.
- On the Fields and Effects tab, there must be a single target, which can have any measurement level, or an events/trials specification, in which case the events and trials specifications must be continuous. Optionally specify its distribution and link function, the fixed effects, and any random effects blocks, offset, or analysis weights.
- Click Build Options to specify optional build settings.
- Click Model Options to save scores to the active dataset and export the model to an external file.
- Click Run to run the procedure and create the Model objects.
