ROC Curve Options

You can specify the following options for your ROC analysis:

Classification
Allows you to specify whether the cutoff value should be included or excluded when making a positive classification. This setting currently has no effect on the output.
Test Direction
Allows you to specify the direction of the scale in relation to the positive category.
Parameters for Standard Error of Area
Allows you to specify the method of estimating the standard error of the area under the curve. Available methods are 'Nonparametric' and 'Bi-negative' exponential. Also allows you to set the level for the confidence interval. The available range is 50.1% to 99.9%.
Missing Values
Allows you to specify how missing values are handled.

Defining Options

This feature requires the Statistics Base option.

  1. From the menus choose:

    Analyze > Classify > ROC Analysis...

  2. In the ROC Analysis dialog, click Options.
  3. Define options.
  4. Click Continue
