What's New and Different

If you used charts in version 15.0, you might want to know what functionality has been added for editing charts, what is now obsolete, what has been renamed, and what has otherwise changed.

What's New

• You can now rotate 3-D charts in real time by clicking and dragging a chart to rotate it. See the topic Exploring 3-D Charts for more information.
• You can now apply a variable to the z axis in a line chart. See the topic Variables and Chart Types for more information.
• You can now apply a variable to the z axis in a histogram. See the topic Variables and Chart Types for more information.
• You can now apply a variable to the stacking variable in a pie chart. See the topic Variables and Chart Types for more information.

What's Renamed

• The 3-D Rotation tab has been renamed to the 3-D Elements tab. Rotation has been moved to a new mode that allows you to rotate a 3-D chart in real time. See the topic Exploring 3-D Charts for more information.
