Removing elements from the canvas

There are various ways to remove elements on the canvas. The following steps describe the easiest method for removing various types of elements.

How to delete a graphic element, title, or footnote

1. Click Element Properties.
2. In the Edit Properties Of list, select the graphic element, title, or footnote that you want to delete.
3. Click the delete button to the right of the list.

How to delete a grouping zone

1. Right-click the grouping zone and select Delete Grouping Zone.

   or

2. Click the grouping zone and press Delete.

How to remove a variable from an axis zone

1. Click the variable in the axis drop zone.
2. Press the delete key. You can also drag the variable back into the Variables list.
