Explanation

When IBM Storage Protect Snapshot is configured to create a read-only snapshot, it is required that these snapshots on the XIV Storage System are locked. Therefore, they cannot be modified. A read-only snapshot is created when the parameter USE_WRITABLE_SNAPSHOTS has a value equal to No in the IBM Storage Protect Snapshot profile configuration file.
