Explanation

When IBM Storage Protect Snapshot is configured to create a read-only snapshot, it is required that the snapshots on the IBM XIV Storage System are locked and therefore cannot be modified. A read-only snapshot is created when the USE_WRITABLE_SNAPSHOTS parameter has a value equal to No in the IBM Storage Protect Snapshot profile configuration file.
