Prerequisite checker for Oracle

Check your system by running the Prerequisite checker tool before you install IBM® Storage Protect Snapshot for Oracle and Oracle in an SAP environment.

You must complete the Pre-installation Checklist checklist before you install IBM Storage Protect Snapshot. In AIX® and Linux™ environments, running the Prerequisite Checker tool automatically runs some of the checks that are documented in the Pre-installation Checklist. Running the tool on your AIX or Linux system, automatically checks for compatible operating system, database instance, and volume group layout in preparation for installing the product.
