Prerequisites
To create VSS snapshot backups of NTFS or ReFS file systems and applications, use IBM Storage Protect Snapshot. When you back up applications and file systems, IBM Storage Protect Snapshot must access the data.
If permissions must be granted for IBM Storage Protect Snapshot to access the data, see the documentation that is provided with the application and file system.
