Required communication ports
IBM® Storage Protect Snapshot for UNIX™ and Linux™ uses ports for communication between its daemon processes on backup or cloning systems and the production system, and the storage systems. Port numbers are defined during the installation of IBM Storage Protect Snapshot for UNIX and Linux.
To determine the default port numbers that are used for IBM Storage Protect
Snapshot for UNIX and Linux see the following table:
