After you run the Prerequisite Checker, the results are stored to the
result.html file that can be viewed in your default browser in the
Prerequisite Checker Results page. In the case of passed checks, there is no
corrective action required. For failures, you must modify your system before you proceed to install
IBM® Storage Protect
Snapshot for UNIX™ and Linux™.
About this task
The Summary reports the overall result of the checks run; the status is either
Failed, Warning, or Passed. The machine name,
Operating System, and serial number are listed with the results for each check.
Procedure

Find the result.html file and open it in your browser.
The result.html file is stored in the <output_path>
of the Prerequisite Checker. The default output path is <checker_path>/logs.
If you specified a different output path with the -o option, the
result.html and log files are stored there. There is a text file version of the
results stored there called, result.txt. For information about fails and
warnings, including message information, review the log file in the same directory.

If your system has Passed, you can proceed to work through the checks in the
Pre-installation Checklist that were not covered by the Prerequisite Checker
tool.

If your system has Failed, you must fix your environment before you install
the product.

Review each warning, and where possible fix the issues and rerun the checks for your system.
