Logging on to the administrative console

Log on to the administrative console to review the configuration of the IBM Storage® Protect Plus virtual appliance. Available information includes general system settings, network, and proxy settings.

Procedure

To log on to the administrative console, complete the following steps:
  1. From a supported browser, enter the following URL: 
    https://HOSTNAME:8090/

    where HOSTNAME is the IP address of the virtual machine where the application is deployed.

  2. In the login window, from the Authentication Type list, select one of the following authentication types:
    Authentication TypeLogon information
    IBM Storage Protect Plus

    To log on as the IBM Storage Protect Plus superuser, enter the username and password. The IBM Storage Protect Plus super user is the user who is assigned the SUPERUSER role.
    System To log in as a system user, enter the serveradmin password.
