Changing the superuser password

If you are logged on as the IBM Storage® Protect Plus superuser, you can change the password for the superuser at any time. Only the superuser can change this password.

Procedure

To change the password for the superuser, complete the following steps:

  1. In the navigation panel, click Accounts > User.
  2. Select the superuser, and then click the options icon the options icon.
  3. Click Change Password.
  4. Enter the new password in the Password field and current password in the Old Password field, and then click Update user.
    The Password field is populated with the current password by default.
