Changing server settings
You can change various server settings from the Operations Center, including security, session, schedule, history, log, and replication settings.
About this task
You can use the Operations Center to change the settings
of commonly-used server properties, including the following items:
- Security properties
- Password authentication
- Password common expiration period
- Invalid sign-on attempt limit
- Minimum password length
- Client-registration permission
- Session and schedule properties
- Scheduling mode
- Duration for one-time actions
- Schedule randomization
- Client-polling interval
- Schedule-event retention period
- History and log properties
- Activity-log data retention period
- Activity-summary data retention period
- Accounting-record creation setting
- Replication properties
- Outbound-replication setting
- Target server
- Default archive rule
- Default backup rule
- Default space-management rule
- Replication-history retention period

Procedure
To change server settings from the Operations Center, complete the following steps:
