Procedure

To change server settings from the Operations Center, complete the following steps:

  1. On the Servers page, select a server.
  2. Click Details and then click the Properties tab.
  3. Click the value of a property that you want to change, and then enter a new value or select from a list of options.
Tip: Before you click Save, you can change multiple properties on the page. If you click Cancel, all of the changes that you made since the last save are canceled.
  4. Click Save.
Tip: For most server property changes that you make in the Operations Center, a SET command is automatically issued to the server, and no changes are made to the server options file, dsmserv.opt. However, if you change the "Maximum sessions" property, a SETOPT command is issued, which modifies the server options file.
