Acknowledging security notifications
Acknowledge a security notification to show that the client was examined for possible infection, and that necessary actions are being taken to resolve any problems.
About this task
When you acknowledge a security notification, a check mark is displayed in the Acknowledged column of the Security Notifications table for the selected client. The standard by which a notification can be acknowledged is determined by your organization. It might mean that you determined the causes of the notification and the client is not infected with ransomware. It might mean that a problem exists, but it is being resolved. Regardless of the specific meaning for your organization, the check mark shows other administrators that the notification is a false positive, is resolved, or will be resolved.
