Data Protection for VMware now supports image-level
incremental-forever backups for individual VMDK disks up to 16 TB, an increase from the
previous 8 TB
limit.This enhancement enables backup and recovery of larger virtual machine disks without requiring any changes to existing backup workflows. Support for datastores, transport modes, compression, deduplication, and encryption remains unchanged, ensuring a seamless experience while extending protection for larger virtual environments.
- Data Protection for VMware is updated to use the following
versions of dependent software components to address security issues and vulnerabilities:
- IBM® Java Semeru Runtime Certified Edition version updated from 21.0.10 to 21.0.11
