Set_domain
Use this vmcli command to apply changes to the domain settings.
Syntax
The vmcli -f set_domain command uses this syntax:vmcli -f set_domain -I domainObjectListFile
You must issue the vmcli -f set_domain command
as tdpvmware user, and not as root.The new domain value is stored in the vmcli database.
Parameters
- -I domain ObjectListFile
- The domainObjectListFile has the following
requirements:
- The file contains one VMware datacenter identifier per line.
- The valid identifier is the datacenter name.
vmcli -f set_domaincommand is run without -I parameter, the domain configuration is deleted.
