migfileexpiration
The migfileexpiration option specifies the number of days that copies of migrated or premigrated files remain on the server after they are modified on your local file system or are deleted from your local file system.

Place this option at the beginning of the dsm.sys file before any server stanzas.

Parameters
- days
- Specifies the number of days a copy of a migrated or premigrated
file remains in storage after it is modified on your local file system,
or deleted from your local file system. The range of values is 0 -
9999. The default is 7 days. Note: If you specify a value of 0, an obsolete copy of a migrated or premigrated file is deleted from the server during the next reconciliation run. If you delete a file from the local file system and reconcile runs with the migfileexpiration value as 0, the file can not be recreated by the dsmmigundelete process.
