Procedure

Set the DSMI_DIR environment variable.
This variable points to the directory where the IBM Storage Protect API is installed. The default value is the default installation directory for the IBM Storage Protect API.

Set the DSMI_LOG environment variable.
This variable points to the directory where the IBM Storage Protect API error log file dsierror.log is stored. The default directory is the Data Protection for HCL Domino installation directory. Specify this environment variable to change the default setting.

Set the DSMI_CONFIG environment variable.
This variable points to the IBM Storage Protect API options file name. The default is the dsm.opt file in the directory where Data Protection for HCL Domino is installed. Specify this environment variable to change the default setting. The file name can include a fully qualified path or a relative path. A relative path is relative to the current directory where Data Protection for HCL Domino is run.
