Oracle 19c on AIX 7.3 TL4 Power11

Data Protection for Oracle now supports backup and restore of Oracle Database 19c running on AIX 7.3 TL4 systems powered by IBM Power11 processors. For more information, see Hardware and Software Requirements: Data Protection for Oracle 8.2.2.

  • Added support for Microsoft SQL Server 2025.
  • Must-Gather scripts for capturing the diagnostic logs
    The Must-Gather scripts provide an automated method for collecting diagnostic data across all IBM Storage Protect components. For more information, see Running Must-Gather scripts.
  • PGP key based package signing for Data Protection for SQL Server
    You can verify a package signature by using the IBM public PGP key and standard verification tools. A successful verification confirms that the package is authentic and has not been modified since IBM released it. For more information about PGP verification, see Validating the digital signature of the client packages.
Data Protection for Oracle
  • Must-Gather scripts for capturing the diagnostic logs
