Use Case - Want to Restore Dynamics 365 Entity Data?

Event:

Over the past two weeks, Sam made several changes to the record field values in Dynamics 365, and he then discovered that his updates to the fields had caused incompatibilities with other applications. He comes to you, his IT Administrator, to help restore the whole entity to the state it was in two weeks ago.

Problem:

There is no native restore functionality in Dynamics 365 for recovering an entity.

Resolution:

You have an IBM® Storage Protect for Cloud account and already have the Dynamics 365 backup service enabled for the organization where the entity resides. You log into IBM Storage Protect for Cloud Dynamics 365 to recover the entity. Sam remembers the entity’s name and the time when he updated the fields in that entity. You can select a date in the past that you want to restore the entity to, and select a backup time to restore that entity.
