Setting your default language
IBM PEM, PEM Partner Repository, and PEM Partner Provisioner supports multiple language options from which users can choose. You can select the language in which the user interface is displayed.
About this task
Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese-simplified, Chinese-traditional, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish.
You can select the language that you prefer to use. You can select a language in your
browser settings, on the sign-in page, or on the My
Profile page. To determine the language in which the user interface is displayed, there
is an order of precedence to the language settings. The order of precedence is as follows:
- The first time that you launch IBM PEM, PEM Partner Repository, or PEM Partner Provisioner, it takes the language locale from the language that is set in your browser settings.
- The language that is selected in the sign-in page overrides the language that is selected in the browser settings.
- The language that is selected in the My Profile page overrides the language that is selected on the sign-in page and also in the browser settings.
Procedure
- To select a language in the My Profile page, see Modifying your profile.
- To select a language in the sign-in page, select a language from the field containing English (United States).
