Setting your data collection preference

IBM PEM collects data of the sponsor users if the property to collect user data is enabled for the sponsor and the user has set the data collection preference as Opt in.

About this task

If the data collection option is enabled, the first time that you log into IBM PEM, it displays a dialog box to set your data collection preference. You can change your preference at any time.

Note: External users does not see the dialog box to set data collection preference when they log into IBM PEM.

Procedure

  1. Login into the IBM PEM application.
  2. If the dialog box to set your data collection preference is displayed, select Opt in or Opt out, and then click Save.
  3. To view or change your data collection preference, navigate to the My Profile page. For information, see Modifying your profile.
