Modifying your profile

Edit online

All users can modify their own profile.

About this task

You must save changes that you make in the Account Information tab before you click the Contact Information tab, and vice versa.

The language that is selected in the My Profile page overrides the language that is selected on the sign-in page and also in the browser settings.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the PEM Portal.
  2. Click the arrow next to the menu item that displays your user name. Select My Profile.
    The My Profile page is displayed. Account Information is displayed by default.
  3. Click Edit to modify the account information.
  4. Update the fields as necessary, using the following information:
    • To change your password, click Change password and follow these steps:
      1. Enter your old password.
      2. Enter a new password.
      3. Reenter the new password.
      4. Click OK, then click OK again.
    • To change the language, click the arrow next to the Language field and select the language with the country or region that best matches the language in which you want to use IBM PEM.
    • To change your security answer, click Change security answer and follow these steps:
      1. Enter a new answer.
      2. Click OK, click OK again.
  5. To modify your contact details, click Contact Information.
  6. Click Edit to modify the contact information.
  7. Update the fields as necessary.
  8. Click Save, and click OK to close the confirmation message.
