Getting started as a System User

As a System User, you can invite other users.

The following table shows the general steps in your registration process. The System Administrator and System User columns have an X if a person with the corresponding permission completes the task. The steps after the table correspond to the steps in the table and provide more information.

1. You receive an email invitation to register. The email contains a registration link and a registration code.
2. Access the registration page by opening the link in the email. Enter the registration code provided in the email and click Submit.
3. Provide information about yourself to complete IBM PEM registration and click Finish. An X appears next to a field if you enter incompatible information. The registration form includes the following fields:
   • User ID (Email)
   • Given name
   • Surname
   • Phone (Office)
   • Password
   • Re-enter password
   • Security question
   • Answer

   Note: If you have questions, send your queries by replying to the email invitation.
4. You receive an email notification that your registration was accepted or rejected. The System Administrator can assign you the permission of a System Administrator or Customer Support.
5. Once your registration is approved, sign in to IBM PEM with the email ID and password that you entered on the registration form.
6. (Optional) If you are prompted for a One Time Password (OTP), enter the OTP received in your email. The OTP is mailed to your registered email ID. If you do not have the OTP or the OTP has expired, regenerate the OTP by clicking the Click to generate the OTP link.
   Note: On the sign-in screen, you can select a different language. IBM PEM supports the following languages:

   Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese-simplified, Chinese-traditional, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish.

When you sign in, by default you see a welcome message.
