Code Lists prerequisites

This topic provides the prerequisites for managing Code Lists in PEM Partner Repository.

Before you begin

Ensure that PEM Portal, PEM Partner Repository, and PEM Partner Provisioner are deployed and running.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to PEM Portal as a Sponsor Administrator.
  2. Click Settings > Attributes.
  3. Click Create and create the following attribute names and values. For more information, see Creating attributes.

    • CodeList
    RequestType
    • ProvisioningRequest
    • TestRequest
    • UnprovisioningRequest
  4. Click API Configuration. and create API configurations for PEM Partner Repository with the appropriate values as described in the following table:

    Name PR
    Protocol https
    Host PEM Partner Repository host name or IP address, or host name or IP address of the reverse proxy or load balancer.
    Port PEM Partner Repository port number or port number of the reverse proxy or load balancer.
    Preemptive authentication Select the check box.
    User name PEM Portal Sponsor Administrator's user name.
    Password PEM Portal Sponsor Administrator's password.
  5. Export the certificate from your Firefox browser. For more information, see Exporting a certificate from the Firefox browser.
  6. Import the certificate with type Trusted. For more information, see Uploading a certificate.
  7. Sign out of PEM Portal.
  8. Sign in to PEM Partner Provisioner as a Sponsor Administrator.
  9. Create an application with the name, B2Bi. For more information, see Creating applications.
  10. Create Test and Production topologies for B2Bi application with the appropriate values as described in the following table. For more information, see Creating topologies.

    Applications Select B2Bi check box and click Edit. The API configuration window opens. Enter the following details and save your changes. Select B2Bi check box and click Edit. The API configuration window opens. Enter the following details and save your changes.
    Protocol Select http from the list Select http from the list
    Host Enter the B2Bi test instance host name or IP address. Enter the B2Bi production instance host name or IP address.
    Port Enter the port number to access the B2Bi APIs Enter the port number to access the B2Bi APIs
    User name Enter the B2Bi test instance user name who has permission to access the B2Bi APIs Enter the B2Bi production instance user name who has permission to access the B2Bi APIs

  11. Import the activities and configure them.

  12. Mark the activity as final.
  13. Create the rules for the activity. For more information, see Creating rules for an activity.
  14. Sign out of PEM Partner Provisioner.
