Generating an SSH key

You can generate a new SSH key to provide an alternative means to exchange information with your trading partners. You can generate multiple SSH keys irrespective of the status of the existing SSH keys. Each SSH key can then be used for multiple SFTP profiles that are created for the same partner. A unique Configuration ID is generated for each SSH key.

You can also create a copy of an SSH key and a default version is created for the copied SSH key. When you create a copy of an SSH key, only the latest version under the original key is copied to the new SSH key.
