Container overview

PEM docker images are Red Hat Container . The following are the benefits of using a Red Hat Container image:

1. Platform packages are not tampered with
2. Container image is free of any known vulnerabilities in the platform components or layers
3. Container is compatible across platforms, including OpenShift, whether on bare metal or a cloud environment

Application OS

The operating system for the Red Hat Container is Red Hat Universal Base Image (UBI) 8.2.

Layered architecture

The container layers are as follows:

• Red Hat Universal Base Image (UBI) OS as base image

• IBM JRE

• IBM WebSphere Liberty

• Partner Engagement Manager war files and configuration files.
