Post-installation configurations

Describes the configuration tasks required after starting IBM Sterling Partner Engagement Manager (PEM) 6.3 for the first time.

After you install and start PEM 6.3, you must complete a set of configuration tasks before the system is ready for regular use.

These tasks help verify that PEM is running correctly, secure initial access, and prepare the system for creating and executing activities.

Procedure

  1. Verify that the PEM application started successfully. For more information, see Verifying PEM startup.
  2. Sign in to PEM and complete the initial setup. For more information, see Signing in to PEM and completing the initial setup.
  3. Configure email notifications. For more information, see Configuring email notifications.
  4. Configure users and roles. For more information, see Configuring users and roles.

Results

PEM 6.3 is configured and ready for designing and executing activities.
