Partner_Expiry Activity Rollout

To roll out the Partner_Expiry activity:

  1. Sign in to PEM Portal as a Sponsor Administrator.
  2. Click Activities.
  3. In the Actions column, click Rollout to open the Activity Rollout window. For more information, see Rolling out an activity.
  4. Click Start Activity in the Actions column to open the Task Execution window.
    Note: Hub_Maintenance and Partner_Maintenance need to be entered in the respective sections.
  5. Update information for the selected partner in the non-production environment –
    1. Select Password Expiry to send alerts about expiring passwords.
    2. Select SSH Update to send alerts about expiring SSH keys.
    3. Select PGP Update to send alerts about expiring PGP keys.
    4. Select Certificate Expiry to send alerts about expiring PGP certificates.
    5. Select SSH User Keyto send alerts about expiring/selected User Identity Key.
    6. Click Finish.
  6. Roll out the activity –
    1. Enter a valid rollout name in the Rollout Name field.
    2. Enter the start date in the Alert Start Date field.
    3. Enter the date by which credentials must be updated in the Due Date field.
    4. Enter notification interval in the Alert Interval field.
    5. Select the partners to whom Roll Out alert is sent is sent and click Finish.
  7. Navigate to monitoring –
    1. Click View Details in the Actions column to start the activity and associated maintenance flow.
Notes:
  • The age of expiring passwords for partners connecting to Hub is retrieved from the IBM Sterling B2B Integrator database.
  • The Onboarding activity does not set a default password policy. If a password policy is required, please customize this segment.
