Getting started as a System Administrator
As a system administrator, you can set up basic IBM PEM functions and invite Sponsor Administrators or a Customer Support to register.
The following table summarizes the tasks a system administrator must complete to set up an
IBM PEM Sponsor Administrator.
Important: You must use the system
configuration default values as recommended settings.

| Sign in. | Sign in to IBM PEM with admin for the user name
and password for the password. Note: On the sign-in page,
you can select a different language. IBM PEM supports the following
languages:
Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese-simplified, Chinese-traditional, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish. |

| Set up an email server. Important: This task must be completed before you can
invite other system administrators or a sponsor administrator to join IBM PEM.

| Customize IBM PEM for the sponsor with the sponsor's terms of use and
logo. Important: Use this task to add the guest user notice, to which the partner agrees
during sign-in.
