Creating a PGP profile
You can create multiple PGP profiles irrespective of the state of the existing profiles. A unique Configuration ID is generated for each PGP profile configuration.
You can also create a copy of a PGP profile.
- Sign in to PEM Partner Repository as a Sponsor Administrator.
- Click Directory. By default, the details of the Partners tab are displayed.
- In the Actions column, select PGP Configuration from the list for the appropriate company. The PGP Configuration window opens.
- Click the appropriate PGP protocol such as PGP Inbound or PGP Outbound that you want to configure.

Click Create. An appropriate window opens.
For example, if you select PGP Inbound, the PGP Inbound window opens.
- In the Name field, enter the name of the PGP profile.

In Configuration types, click Select... to select
the configuration types for the profile. The Select Configuration Types window
opens.
- Click Add. The Configuration Type window opens.
- From the Type list, select the appropriate configuration type.

In Secret key for PGP verification, click
Select.... The Select PGP Key window opens. From the
list, click the appropriate PGP key.
Note: This step is optional for PGP Outbound profile but is mandatory for the PGP Inbound profile.

In Secret key for PGP encryption, click
Select.... The Select PGP Key window opens. From the
list, click the appropriate PGP key.
Note: This step is optional for PGP Inbound profile but is mandatory for the PGP Outbound profile.
- Optional:
In Extensions, click
Select.... The Select Extensions window opens.
- Click Add. The Select Extensions window opens.
- In the Name field, enter the extension name.
- In the Value field, enter the extension value.
- Click OK.
- Optional:
For Sponsor division, click
Select... to select the sponsor division from the Select Division
window.
A sponsor division that is defined for the PGP profile indicates the use of the profile for that division.
Note: You cannot update the sponsor division after you save the PGP profile. - Close all the other windows by clicking OK.
- Click Save to save your changes.
