Resetting the password for another user
Sponsor Administrators or Partner Administrators can reset the password for another user if the user forgets their password and the answer to their security question.
Sponsor Administrators can reset the password for Line-of-business representative users, Sponsor users, and Partner Administrator users. Whereas, Partner Administrators can reset the password for Partner users.
When a Sponsor Administrator or Partner Administrator resets the password for a user, the user receives an email. The email contains a link to IBM PEM where the user can enter a new password for their account.
Important: The user must reset their password before the reset password link expires.
The default expiration time for the reset password link is 24 hours. The expiration date is
mentioned in the email message.
After resetting the password, the user can change the security question and answer from IBM PEM.
- Sign in to the PEM Portal as a Sponsor Administrator or Partner Administrator.

. The Users page is displayed.

Locate the user for whom you want to reset the password, click the arrow in the
Actions column for the user, and select Reset
Password.
A Reset Password window is displayed.
- Optional: Enter any information that you want to share with the user in the Comments field.
- Click Send.

Click OK to close the confirmation message.
An email with a link is sent to the user.
