A line-of-business (LOB) representative is a sponsor user who manages a set of partners, to make partner management easier for sponsors.
The LOB representative allows the partner to have a single point of contact for escalations. It allows the sponsor to delegate partner management tasks for a set of partners to one person.
You can assign or unassign partners from a division by using a REST API. LOB users can be assigned to divisions by using REST APIs such that LOB users can perform tasks for all partners that are assigned to the same division. The Sponsor Administrator can send registration alerts and activity alerts to the LOB representative. LOB representatives can view all activities that are rolled out to their partners, and can send alerts to their partners.
Administrators can do everything that an LOB representative can do, and more.
Standard Users can view the status of activities they are assigned in the Activities dashboard. Sponsor Administrators and Standard Users can view all activities that are rolled out to partners. Line-of-business representatives can view only the activities that are rolled out to the partners that are assigned to the same division as that of the LOB representative.
