Uploading a certificate

Certificates are required to ensure a secure connection. Sponsor Administrators can upload a certificate.

Before you begin this task, you must have a Trusted certificate that is DER (Distinguished Encoding Rules) encoded or a CA (certificate authority) certificate that is DER encoded. The certificate can be supplied in binary or Base64 encoding.
  1. Sign in to the PEM Portal as a Sponsor Administrator.
  2. Click Settings > Certificates.
  3. Click Import.
    The Import Certificate window opens.
  4. In the Alias field, enter an alias or name for the certificate that is unique for the type of certificate, CA or Trusted.
  5. From the Type list, select the certificate.
  6. In File, click Browse and browse to the location where the certificate is present and select the certificate to upload.
  7. Click Import. The certificate is uploaded.

If the selected certificate is not valid, an error message is displayed. Ensure to select a valid certificate and upload it.
