Starting a partner task
A Sponsor Administrator, Sponsor Standard User, and an LOB representative can start partner tasks for activities that are rolled out. A Sponsor Administrator can view and start the partner tasks in test mode.
Prerequisites
LOB representatives that are assigned to the same division as that of partners can start the tasks of those partners even when the LOB representatives do not have the role to start the partner tasks. LOB representatives that are not assigned to partners divisions and Sponsor Standard Users can start partner tasks only when an appropriate role is assigned to them.
Before LOB representatives that are not assigned to partners divisions and Sponsor Standard Users start partner tasks, appropriate permissions must be assigned to LOB representatives to allow them to start partner tasks. The role must also be assigned to those LOB representatives and Sponsor Standard Users who plan to start partner tasks.

Test mode
In a test mode, Sponsor Administrator users can start the partner tasks from the Sponsor View.
Self-update and Auto update activities
Sponsor users can also now start self-update and auto-rolled out activities.
Simultaneous task processing
Sponsor Users can assign tasks to themselves if they have the appropriate roles. Partner users can also assign the tasks back to themselves. However, if the same task is processed by a Sponsor User and a partner user simultaneously, an error is displayed for one of the users to indicate that the task is being processed by a different user.
Limitations
Sponsor Administrator users cannot assign tasks to partners because the partner organization users are not visible to the Sponsor Administrator users.
Even when Sponsor Users start the partner tasks, notification emails are sent to the partners.
