Adding a partner to a rolled out activity
You can add a partner to an activity that is already rolled out.
This task assumes that you have an activity that is rolled out, that you want to roll out to
another partner.
You cannot add a partner to an activity that is in Closed status. New partners added to a rolled out activity receive an email notification.
Context data mapping is not allowed. You can only view the mapping that was done during the first rollout.
- Sign in to the PEM Portal as a Sponsor Administrator.

Select Activities > Monitoring.
The Monitoring tab is displayed.

In the Actions column for the activity, select Add Partners.
The Activity Rollout window is displayed. The name and details of the rolled out activity are displayed.

Click Next.
On page 2 of the Activity Rollout window, you can view the context data that was added when the activity was defined.Note: You cannot map the context data after the activity is rolled out the first time.

Click Next.
On page 3 of the Activity Rollout window, you can choose whether to add the partner by name or by selecting a partner group or attribute. On the Group tab, you can select a group or search by group name to filter the list of groups. You can also click Attributes or Trading Partners to display the list of attributes or partners.

Choose at least one way to select the partner:
- Companies in a specific group: Go to step 7.
- Companies with specific attribute values: Go to step 8.
- Companies by name (under Trading Partners): Go to step 11.

To choose a partner by associated group, select the check box next to the group name.

Select a group in the Group List, and click the right
arrow ("greater than" symbol) (>) to add the group value to the
Selected Group List.
Note: You can also click the left arrow ("less than" symbol) (<) to move a group out of the Selected Group List.
- Optional:
Enter a group name in the Search by group name
field.
If the group exists, it is listed in the Group List.

Select a group in the Group List, and click the right
arrow ("greater than" symbol) (>) to add the group value to the
Selected Group List.
- To choose a partner by attribute value, click Attributes.

Select an attribute type from the list.
A list of values for the attribute is displayed.

Select the check box next to the attribute value.

Select an attribute value in the Attribute Value List, and click the
right arrow ("greater than" symbol) (>) to add the
attribute value to the Selected Attribute Value List.
Note: You can also click the left arrow ("less than" symbol) (<) to move an attribute out of the Selected Attribute List.
- Optional:
Enter an attribute value in the Search by attribute
value field.
If the attribute value exists, it is listed in the Attribute List.

Select an attribute value in the Attribute Value List, and click the
right arrow ("greater than" symbol) (>) to add the
attribute value to the Selected Attribute Value List.

To add partners by name, click Trading Partners.
A list of partners to whom this activity was not rolled out before is displayed, and you can search by using the following IDs to filter the list:
- You can search for SSO enabled partners using the Company Name/Unique ID, User ID, or Email ID.
- You can search for SSO disabled partners using the Company Name/Unique ID or User ID.

Select the check box next to the partner name in the Partner List.

Click the right arrow ("greater than" symbol) (>)
to add the partner to the Selected Partner List.
Note: You can also click the left arrow ("less than" symbol) (<) to move a partner out of the Selected Partner List.
- Optional:
Enter a partner name in Search by partner name
field.
If the partner exists, it is listed in the Partner List.

Click the right arrow ("greater than" symbol) (>)
to add the partner to the Selected Partner List.

When you are finished selecting groups, attributes or partners, click
Next.
A summary displays the selected groups, attributes, and partners.Note: This summary includes only the new partners to whom you want to roll out the activity.

Click Finish.
An email notification is sent to the partners, stating that an activity is assigned to their organization. You see a confirmation message.
- Click OK to close the confirmation message.
