Software requirements for IBM PEM Essentials

Operating system All operating systems that are supported by Docker on the x86 platform.

IBM has qualified IBM PEM by running the Docker CE on CentOS.

Docker Engine 1.13.x version
Database DB2 11.5.7 or Oracle 19c or Microsoft SQL Server 2017 or 2019 Developer Edition
Note: Microsoft SQL Server is supported in IBM PEM versions 6.2.0.2 and later.
JMS queues
  • Embedded JMS

    Installation of Embedded JMS is not required as it is packaged with IBM PEM.

  • IBM MQ version 9.1.0.4. This is optional as it depends on the selected JMS provider.
