Managing IBM Spectrum Symphony
IBM Spectrum Symphony provides two key management interfaces: the command-line interface and the browser-based cluster management console.
Starting your cluster
Start your cluster by starting EGO on all the hosts in your cluster.
Shutting down your cluster
Shut down your cluster by stopping EGO on all the hosts in your cluster.
Restarting your cluster
Restart your cluster by restarting EGO on all the hosts in your cluster.

Starting, shutting down, or restarting EGO faster
To increase cluster performance, you can start, shutdown, or restart your cluster faster by specifying commands to run in parallel. On Linux® , use forked processes to implement parallel execution. On Windows, use threads. This parallel execution allows the system to complete start, shutdown, and restart commands faster.
Setting your primary host candidates
You can modify the order of the hosts in the primary-candidate list (this is the list that specifies the management hosts in line to become the new primary host when the existing primary host becomes unavailable). You can also change the primary host.
