About sessions

You can create a local session object that refers to a session in IBM® Spectrum Symphony.

You can interact with an IBM Spectrum Symphony session by invoking methods on your local Session object.

Once the local session is created by the client, its corresponding IBM Spectrum Symphony session is valid until one of the following happens:

  • The session is killed by an administrator
  • The session aborts because of a fatal exception
  • The client goes away without closing the session
  • The client closes the session
