Why do CLI and GUI display local host IP address as 127.0.0.1 on Linux?

An IP address of 127.0.0.1 is displayed instead of the real IP address (such as 172.17.18.45) when the SSM and client run on the same Linux® host. If you want to display the real IP address, do not run the SSM and client on the same host.
